Description

This set of 14 round beads has a natural, buff or oatmeal-like color, creamy with darker flecks. They are shiny, with a slightly bumpy texture. They measure about 8mm each.

I handform my beads from wet clay, rolling and piercing them by hand. While they're drying out, I sand them thoroughly to get them nice and smooth. I then fire them in my kiln, sand them again if necessary, glaze them, and fire them again at a higher temperature. Occasionally the glazing/firing process is repeated. At a minimum, this process takes 3-4 days.
