Fall Landscape

Description

Orange is my favorite color, so after living in Africa for four years, I couldn't wait to experience fall again. My studio window had an amazing view of Lake Union and North Seattle, as seen from Capitol Hill. The trees were bright, but the sky was Seattle gray, and I loved the contrast. Pumpkins and gourds have always been one of my favorite things to paint, and so I just set them on the windowsill and decided to capture as much of fall as I could in one canvas.
