Wood Duck Plaque (painted)
Description
This wood duck plaque is handcarved from bass wood, then tinted with acrylic paint to look life-like, leaving some of the natural wood showing...... to stay away from the artificial plastic look. Detail is also burnt into the wood with wood burning pen. He measures 6 1/2" to the top of wing from breast, and 7 1/2" to tip of tail from tip of bill x 3/4" thick. Has a key hole in back for hanging. Brightens up any wall and makes a great gift. Signed and dated by year by the carver. Several coats of satin varnish tops him off.THANKS FOR BROWESING MY SHOP!
