Believe -- Origami Crane Art Kanji -- Framed

Description

This "kanji", or chinese character, symbolizes the Japanese word "Shin," meaning "Believe." It is created from a total of 201 gold foil origami cranes, each measuring just an inch tall. The character is mounted on a background of black velvet. It measures 8 inches (approximately 20.3 cm) by 10 inches (approximately 25.4 cm). The 1.5 inch (3.75 cm) deep shadowbox frame is also handmade by me, and is painted a glossy black lacquer. The overall size is 9 inches (22.5 cm) by 11 inches (27.5 cm).

The character is also available in silver, or can be purchased without a frame.
