It's art it's a toy it's an Art toy. This item rorybot is part of the grunts collection. Well not all robots have wonderfully exotic lives. Some do the menial tasks for their human owners. I wanted to celebrate the hard working robots that help us everyday to do the dirty jobs we don't want to do ourselves. His paint is enamel and acrylic. I wanted to concentrate on the paint this time around. i wanted to see just how far i could push the wear on the paint. I think that it came out great. The window on his belly is painted in acrylics and features a happy robot pilot.
Made fresh daily! This is not a toy as much as a fine art piece to be enjoyed as a sculpture on a 100 year old oak desk or a dusty shelf in your rumpus room. It is made from found objects and is built solid with nuts bolts. This little guy is built to last. The body,head,legs,and feet are made of tins. The arms are made of steel and aluminum.Solid made-solid state. There is no other movement or lighting unless mentioned above. Monsters and robots have been a constant theme in my artwork and for the last few years or so i have been making these sculptures . it measures approx 10inches tall and 5 inches wide
