Large Black and White Carved Vase
Description
I threw this vase on my pottery wheel with white earthenware clay. The middle section of the vase was carved by hand and features a semi-transparent glossy black glaze. The inside and top and bottom portions of the vase are glazed with a glossy clear. This vase looks lovely displayed on its own, or with flowers. There is a bit of extra weight in the bottom of the vase to help balance top-heavy bouquets.Dimensions:
Height = 7.25" (18.4 cm)
Width at widest point = 6.25" (15.8 cm)
Width at rim = 3.5" (8.8 cm)
