The Apsara Sai - Limited Edition ACEO

Description

The "Apsara Sai" ACEO is a mini print of my original photo collage. The ACEO measures 2.5 x3.5" and is a finely detailed print on archival cotton rag paper mounted to a one of a kind paper collage over metallic gold heavy weight crescent board. The ACEO has been sealed with UV spray to protect the artwork. This listing is for #2/15 (shown).

The "Apsara Sai" collage was inspired by and created from photos taken from my trips to Cambodia and Hawaii.

WHAT IS AN APSARA?
An Apsara is a female spirit of the clouds and waters in Hindu and Buddhist mythology, essentially an angel. Apsarases (plural) are said to be able to change their shapes at will, and specially rule over the fortunes of gaming and gambling. Apsarases each represent a distinct aspect of the performing arts. They can be compared with the ancient Greek muse. They may also, in their "Nature" capacity, be rendered comparable to the Greek nymphs, dryads, naiads, etc.

This ACEO is hand embellished, titled, signed and numbered on the back. No one is the same - This edition is very limited, only 15 will be produced with the paper collage embellishments. Each ACEO is shipped in a protective plastic sleave.
