Gauge: 32 sts x 32 rows = 4-inch x 4-inch using size 1-2 (2.25-2.5mm) needles

Base yarn is Dale of Norway Baby Ull. The pictures don't do it justice, as it pops with bright chartreuse and limes, some deep turquoise splashes and some yellow here and there. It is extremely soft and would be perfect for baby socks, hats and mittens, and there is enough in both skeins for an average size pair of adult socks. It's machine-washable, but I would strongly suggest gentle hand-washing; lay flat to dry or block as needed.

Each skein of yarn that I dye is in a one-of-a-kind colorway unless I do two or three skeins at once using the same method for each.

Most of them are dyed using Jacquard acid dyes, but I will also use Wilton's icing colors or Kool-Aid (or a combination of two or three of those) to get the colors and/or effects that I want to achieve.

There are also a variety of hand-dyeing techniques and methods that I employ to create my yarn colors, but my preferred method is kettle-dyeing. I love the subtle variation of color and the gentle blending of the various shades that can be achieved with this method.

Yarns can be wound into center-pull cakes before shipping if preferred.
