Description

A mixture of urban textures with the Eiffel Tower in France gives this photo a very moody feel.

This picture is a collaboration between myself and my father. In the mid 1980s, my family traveled to Paris to visit my sister who was spending her junior year of college there. My dad took pictures on that trip. I later took some of those images and altered them for my Rovinato series. They are part of a subset of that series, called Détruit, or French for ruined. Did not seem quite right to use Italian to name this series of French photos.

This image is part of John W. Golden's "Rovinato"(Italian for "ruined") Series. John uses a combination of photographs of urban textures and various subject matter to create an image that in the end looks almost painterly.

Image is reproduced on archival paper and is 12" x 12". 5"x5"($10) and 8"x8" ($20) are available on request. Packed in a cello bag and shipped rolled in a tube. Image is unmatted. See more of John's work at http://www.johnwgolden.com. PLEASE NOTE:
