MOUNT SAINT HELENS

Description

Inspired by a climb up on the shoulders of this massive, active, volcano. Black Psilomelane represents the churning magma deep in the Earth and changes to its more violent and explosive Rhyolitic forms in the 27 layer engraved, forged and etched Sterling Silver/Copper Mokume Gane once near the upper reaches of the mountain. Cascading down the sides are two Pyroclastic forms. Hinged Star Diopsides, black but radiating the fiery glow of the explosion, animate with the wearers movements. Twinkling far below is little spirit lake, a small bullet of Rutilated Quartz, completely overpowered by the eruption. All this is set in 18 karat and 14 karat yellow gold. The bail also hinged will fit up to a 6mm Round Mesh or Omega chain. Overall size of this piece is 42mm x 52mm. Display chain not included.
