I love the way the thorny edges of a cactus leave shadows on each other. I cut this piece from all-shina ply and hand-printed it with a dark chocolate colored oil-based relief ink on textured mulberry paper (50% Kozo, 50% recycled paper). The paper has a slight yellow cast with grey flecks which enhance the organic feel.

This print is part of the Baren.org print collection at the University of Kentucky at Lexington.
