Pink Cubic Zirconia drops hang from gold filled ear hooks.
These beautiful cz drops are an amazing baby pink. The color is a deeper pink than the picture actually shows. I fell in love with the color of the stones as soon as I saw them. I also have them in a deep purple and rich orange. Hang about 3/4" long.

Cubic Zirconia was discovered in its natural state in 1937 by two German mineralogists, von Stackelberg and Chudoba.
The zircon contained tiny crystals that were determined to be the cubic form of zirconium oxide.

It wasn't until the 1970's, however, that Soviet scientists learned how to grow the crystals in the laboratory.
