Palampore Tree Giclee Print on Canvas 44 x 36 inchs

Description

In this painting I was thinking about the textile tradition of making palampore tapestries. I thought it would be fun to make my own tree of life, filled with fanciful birds, flowers, and fruit!

I have a painting similar to this one in my living room (shown in lower pictures) and it really looks like an actual painting on stretched canvas with stretcher bars. (the original is always out in an art show.) Most of the people I showed it to at my last open studios were amazed at the color quality and the ability to see the individual brush strokes.

THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE CANVAS ONLY OF "PALAMPORE TREE". THE OTHER PICTURES ARE THERE TO SHOW WHAT THESE GICLEE PRINTS LOOK LIKE IN THE HOME.

This print measures 44" high by 36" wide by 1.5" deep (79cm x 73cm x 4cm).

A Giclee print starts from a super high definition photograph of the original painting. There is only one camera that can take this photo in my county. Then it is digitally edited to adjust for color accuracy. After that is is printed onto canvas with a large format printer. The inks are archival and so is the canvas. After that the canvas is stretched onto wooden bars, so that it looks like an original painting.

This painting has now been licensed for Giclee prints by a company in San Diego California, called Studio Avo. They make life size fine art Giclee reproductions on canvas. So when you order it from me, it will actually be dropped shipped from Studio Avo. I will send you a separate thank you note and goodies from my studio.
