The Black and Blue Revue Ostrich Feather Burlesque Hair Piece

I love to play with color and it's no secret I'm a fan of blue, it looks fabulous with just about everything!

I've bonded one cobalt blue and 2 black ostrich feathers to a heavy canvas base. A large powder-blue, velvet millinery flower has been sewn to the feather base and then hand-sewn securely around the top of a hair comb. And because no Louise Black burlesque item is complete without an added touch of sparkle, I've sewn an antique 1920's brooch to the center of the flower and dangled a vintage rhinestone pendant from the base of the brooch.

The flower measures about 4.5" is diameter and the entire piece is approximately 14-15" tall and when worn will slightly wrap over the top of the head. Despite the size, this piece is fairly light weight and you shouldn't need to secure it with additional pins or clips unless you are using it in a performance.
