JACOBS LADDER

Description

I sketched this piece after watching that very freaky and disturbing movie. Whew! Anyways, the sketch sat around for a long time. The right stone came along and voila new work by Joyful Crow, Jacobs Ladder, those twisty curvy rungs of ascension, ultimately delivering us to............!
Sterling and Fine Silver metalwork and open backed bezel, surrounding a backlit piece of fine Gel Sugilite. Pure silicate, some manganese inclusion present. Stone will face up slightly darker but not as dark as in the 2nd reverse side photo showing unpolished gem surface. Solid 14 karat gold dots top the vertical rails and are highly polished contrasting to the bead blasted and brushed oxidized surface. Piece is 14mm x 52mm overall size. Display chain not included.
