Description
This hat was constructed from wool sweater pieces laundered in hot soapy water to pre-shrink and partly felt. Seams are accented with blanket stitch in a coordinating coloured yarn. The resulting thick wool fabric provides warmth in winter.This hat is child-sized, or for a very small adult head. The turned-up brim is 2 inches high, and it is 6 inches from the gathered top to the lower edge of the turned-up brim. The head opening expands from 16 inches to 19 inches.
