Bright Salmon-Pink Leather Journal . handbound . 200 pages

Description

This journal is 7¼" x 5¼ (or 18.5cm X 13cm) and it has about 200 pages. The first page is a sheet of handmade paper with bright flower petal and leaf inclusions.

The cover is bright salmon-pink cowhide leather which is a bit stiff and will be very durable. There is a wide tab on the fore edge that slides through the loop on the front cover, this will help keep the book neat when closed.

The pages are handbound with matching waxed thread, visible on the spine. The binding is a combination of link stitch and longstitch - bookbinding techniques that have been used since the medieval era.

There are about 200 pages (when you count both sides of each sheet). Pages are blank, white, and unlined. Opens flat.

Book size is about 7¼" X 5¼ and ¾" thick (or 18.5cm X 13cm X 2cm)

I try to make each of my books unique so if you have one of my books, you can be pretty sure that nobody else has one quite like it! Most of my books are made using historic book structures from the Medieval and Renaissance eras and I try to be as accurate as possible given the limited information that is available about these books.
