Thos formerly vintage silver plated tray has been transformed. Primer and burgundy paint, a mosaic of hand painted kilnfired tiles from an artist in Israel. The colors of the tiles are burgundy, dark red, plae golden yellow with accents of gold and white. The picture does not do them justice. Always prettier in person... I finished this tray with a mauve colored grout to give it even more charm and a finished look.

It's difficult to get a good shot how beautiful mosaics really are, they are always, always much prettier "in Person".
