Ametrine Goldfilled Necklace
Description
A single, pale purple ametrine teardrop is accompanied by two small, golden citrine ovals. Each one of these semiprecious stones is held on its own goldfilled headpin. Each headpin was handwrapped a number of times to prevent loss of the stone. A goldfilled finding was then used to attach the ametrine and citrine to the center of the chain.The goldfilled chain was handfinished with goldfilled findings, including a spring ring. The necklace measures approximately 17.5 inches/44.45 cm from end to end. The semiprecious stone drop measures approximately .75 inches/1.91 cm in length.
