Green Tile Silk Scarf

Description

I based the pattern of this scarf on an old Turkish tile pattern. It is very elegant, and the colors will brighten up winter days. I created the pattern on the scarf by the batik technique, to which I've recently returned. I used soy wax flakes which, in addition to being a more sustainable resource, is far better to work with in my home studio.

The scarf is 100% habotai silk, and it measures 11"x60" (27.9cm x 152.4cm). It's a wonderful size for wearing around your hair, neck or around the waist as a sash.
