Black Iris necklace

Description

This necklace is made from individual woven panels of delica beads, threaded onto cable and silver tube beads and finished with a sterling silver clasp. The necklace is 40cm long, which for me sits comfortably just above my collar bones.

Each panel is woven bead by bead using delica seed beads and strong upholstery thread; creating a strong yet supple piece of bead 'fabric'.

In this necklace I have used a combination of iridescent glossy beads in copper and purple tones bordered by matte black. The contrast between the dark and the mateallic, the glossy and the matte, make a striking necklace.
