Description

The Jumblies, by Edward Lear is part of a collection of Nonsense Songs, Stories, Botany and Alphabet, published in England, in 1871.

Designed and hand-bound by Angela Liguori and Silvana Amato, under the imprint of Edizioni Almenodue, illustrations by Fabian Negrin.

The book is letterpress printed in Milan, Italy, on Italian Fedrigoni paper, in a limited edition of 150 copies, during March 2004. It is hand-bound with Japanese Obonai paper on the hard cover and Japanese hand-made paper end sheets. It presents a single signature pamphlet stitch sewing on a folded Fabriano Tiziano paper.
The text is composed in Proforma, translated from English into Italian by Damiano Abeni.

The title label is letterpress printed on kozo paper, then glued on the cover.
