First Breath Sculpture (Manatee and calf)
Description
This a sculpture of a Manatee and calf. The mother is pushing the calf up for it's first breath of air. It is stained glass on a wood backing. The back is shaped and finished so that the piece can be displayed on a coffee table or other open area. It measures 10"L x 5 1/4"W x 11"H. This piece is a collaboration between Susan and Scott Oakley. We both were moved while creating this piece. As parents the power of this piece is immeasurable.Added on Dec 26, 2009
