Saint Doobie, The Patron Saint of Global Village Idiots

Another side venture into political satire. This was actually the first one in a series of 4 wall-icons executed in mixed metals with etched and copper elements as well as my favorite-found objects. The doors that open to reveal himself have been etched and pierced. He is made of etched and formed brass, and an archival quality photo protected by resin and rests a little too comfortably on his laurels on the blue background of anodized aluminum. The whole assemblage measures around 7" x 9" x 1"deep. It is fitted with a wire hanger and is signed and dated. There are 2 others on the site, see my shop. The 4th which "honored" Mr. Cheney has been sold. OOAK $750.
