Inspired by Queen Esther with amethysts representing the color of royalty.

These fun and beautiful gold-filled hoop earrings each dangle a vermeil snowflake bead (sterling silver plated in 22 kt gold), three natural 7mm dark round amethyst gemstone beads and two natural 6mm faceted amethyst gemstone rondelle beads. The beads are wrapped on gold-fill wire. The earrings measure just over 2" long and 1" wide.

These earrings come with a card discussing the scriptures that inspired them and are boxed for gift giving. Matching necklace, bracelet and ring are available for purchase separately.

**********What is Gold-Fill?**************
There is a difference between gold-plate and gold-filled. Gold-fill is 50 to 100 times thicker than regular gold-plating, and about 17 to 25 times thicker than heavy gold electroplate. Gold-filled items are made by combining a layer or layers of gold alloy to a base metal (usually brass, copper, or steel) then rolling or drawing the metal to the desired thickness and shape. Gold-plate is a very thin deposit of gold, electroplated or electrochemically applied to the piece.
