Chocolate Patterned Mug
Description
This gorgeous mug is glazed in a deep black color that "breaks" chocolate brown on the pattern I added using my hand-carved stamps.This stoneware mug is handmade on a potter's wheel and fired to over 2000 degrees F.
It is decorated in a beautiful warm Tenmoku glaze that highlights the African textile inspired pattern. On the inside of the cup the glaze shows off where my fingers left imprints as I pressed out against the stamps.
Comfortably balanced, this mug stands 4" tall with a 3 1/2" diameter mouth. It holds just a little more liquid than a standard commercial coffee mug.
All of my pottery is food safe, as well as microwave and dishwasher safe.
