Happiness -- Origami Crane Art Kanji -- 8x10

Description

This "kanji", or chinese character, symbolizes the Japanese word "Fuku," meaning "happiness." It is created from a total of 145 gold foil origami cranes, each measuring just an inch tall. The character is mounted on a background of black velvet. It measures 8 inches (approximately 20.3 cm) by 10 inches (approximately 25.4 cm)

I am offering some of my works unframed to give my customers an option to choose their own frame, locally, since the black lacquer frame I normally would place this in may or may not match everyone's decor. It is also a less expensive alternative when it comes to shipping, due to the reduction in weight (not to mention the elimination of the very fragile glass.)
