Blue Waterfall Skirt
Description
I made this skirt years ago just for fun. It isn't constructed in the traditional skirt manner, but is pieced together from various pieces of the same blue knit fabric. Rectangles created the base, and different sized triangles were then attached to create the fabric cascades.This would be a wonderful skirt for dancing in, as it moves really beautifully.
A word of caution! Since the construction is so unconventional, there are places where the skin might peek through! [See the third photo for an example.] Something great for the daring, show a little fishnet stocking between the folds and layers of the skirt. Could be very sexy, but I wanted to warn you!
The elastic waistband measures 30". Please note it is very firm elastic, and does not stretch easily. The shortest part of the skirt is 11.5", and the longest drape is about 26" long.
