For the longest time, I would walk into the corner bodega and drool over all the Hostess snack cakes lined up on the metal shelf. Right there, staring at me. Tantalizing me with the ideas of biting into a creamy and fluffy center. Alas...I would walk away with a pang in my heart.

That was until I simply got fed up and decided to figure out a way to create the vegan version of the little treats myself.

Don’t let the name fool you, Brooklyn based Vegan Honey uses no animal by-products including dairy, eggs or honey in any of their baked goods. But you'll never tell the difference!
