Black Leather Choker with Silver Dangles and Garnet Drops

A new direction for my jewelry making has led me to incorporate my sterling silver and gemstone jewelry and leather. This piece is made from all recycled leather, sterling silver, and garnet. The leather choker in black leather with peek-a-boo cutouts, is reinforced and lined to help it keep it's shape while being worn and each sterling silver piece is hand made by me. Each sterling piece was made from silver sheet and wire that was hammered and shaped into triangle and drop form. The triangles are framed in round sterling silver wire with a little sterling button in the middle for added decoration, and each garnet is bezel set in it's very own handmade setting. The choker has two hand hammered sterling silver "S" hooks for closure. It measures 16.25 inches long, the leather choker measures 2 inches tall, and each sterling silver drop measures 2.25 inches long. Dramatic and fun, plus comfortable on.
