Orient Express Bracelet

Description

The colors, style, and texture of this piece bring to mind the awesome, darkness and mystery of that huge black locomotive The Orient Express. Once I make a piece, it really does take on a life of its own, and this one fits into that realm perfectly. It's stunning to look at on the wrist.
Size: This bracelet fits like a 7" bracelet would, but measures longer. This is due to the large (18mm) pietersite rondelle in the middle of the bracelet. (The larger the beads, the longer the bracelet needs to be to afford some play around the wrist. )

Naming the stones from the center large Pietersite outwards are:
10 mm Black Tourmaline,
12 mm silver bali bead,
12mm faceted tiger eye rondelle,
8 mm round black onyx,
9 mm faceted brown freshwater pearl,
6 mm black austrian crystal faceted bead,

Pietersite is a stone for groundedness and power. It has a chatoyancy to it like tiger eye. Overall, the stones used are combined for balance of power as well as balance of color, texture and style. The mix can contribute a sense of confidence, empowerment and protection in the wearer, as most stones can be attributed to the root chakra, plus tiger eye for 2nd and 3rd chakras.
