I have had this drum for far too long. Nothing structurally wrong with it but it has gotten a few scratches and dents along the way....you know....character! So I am knocking down the price from $500.00 to $425.00!!!!!

This is the largest type of drum we make. The wood is redwood so the overall weight of the drum is pretty light. The dimensions are; 24" tall without the stand (36" with), 25" across the top and 18" across the bottom. Our dog is there for size reference only and is a little confused. The staves are all bookmatched when cut and then glued, routed, filed, sanded, and varnished with a clear coat. We use 1/4" steel for the rings that we roll and weld ourselves. The steel stand is also cut welded and wrapped in leather by us. The head is goat skin. It is a medium thickness which gives great response for an extremely wide range of sound when played with the hands. Mallets (included) can also be used for a boomy heartbeat of a sound with variable tones depending on where you hit the head. This is a very loud bassy drum that can be heard very far off but can also be played with finesse for a warmer, more intimate sound. A tuning and care sheet goes out with every drum and please don't hesitate to e-mail or call with any other questions.
