"Flower" is a sweet piece of artwork which would look wonderful in a child's room! It is part of a new series of small art quilts which I am currently working on. All of the quilts in this series have been based on loose styled drawings which I have been doing on my computer. (The bottom picture on the right shows the original drawing that this particular art quilt was based on.)

I lovingly machine and hand stitched, and hand embroidered "Flower". It measures 6" x 8" and has been mounted to a fabric covered piece of Timtex heavy interfacing, which has been carefully hand stitched to the back of the quilt. (This provides a sturdy foundation, giving the textile piece a very finished and professional presentation, allowing the piece to hang nice and flat.)

"Flower" is signed on the back, and a flat cord hanger has been securely sewn to the backside, for immediate hanging gratification! (Of course, the quilt is also suitable for framing should you so desire.)

To keep clean, (if hung without a frame) simply go over the surface with a lint roller every now and then.
