Maple Drop Spindle
Description
Maple drop spindle for hand spinning yarn. This is a top whorl design. The woodturned spindle is not only beautiful to the touch, it is easy to use as well. Weight for the drop spindle is .8 - 1.2 ounces. The lighter the spindle, the easier it is to spin finer yarn. The 9.5" shaft is made from birch. The spindle diameter is 2.5". Your spindle will look very similiar to the one pictured here. A small quantity of wool roving will be included along with a set of directions for its use.
