Description
ward off evil spirits with my enamel shield pin! fired in yellow, lavender and turquoise glass enamel, this art brooch is set into an oxidized sterling silver bezel. the enamel shield pin measures 2.5" x 1" x .5".i fabricate my own dies and press the copper sheets into the shield shaped forms with my 20 ton hydraulic press. after enameling each piece with brilliant colors in modern designs, i set them into a custom oxidized sterling silver bezel setting cut out on the back to mimic the front design. the reverse is as beautiful as the front!. inspired by the mother country: africa!
