Fancy Velvet Green Shirt- recycled and sustainable
Description
This shirt is actually made from a recycled pillow and torn velvet dress. I try to promote conservation and sustainable living and this is one of the ways I try to do it.The shirt was designed and shown in a fashion show in Lewiston, Maine. I created this show to display sustainable clothing, in hopes to promote the idea of functional sustainability. Many of the pieces from this show were then displayed at the Bates College Art Museum as part of their Green Horizons show. An art show promoting the idea of sustainability and art.
This shirt is not only beautiful, unique, couture but also sustainable.
The shirt is a small and fits about a US size 4.
