Kuan Yin

Description

Kuan Yin is the Chinese Goddess of perfect happiness. She is depicted here in glorious shades of red, mandarin, daffodil yellow and gold.

The cabachons are handcrafted from polymer clay that have been embellished with gold leaf, inks and foils. Each has been sanded, buffed and polished to a high glassy shine.

Complementary beads include garnet and carnelian, surrounded by tiny glass seed beads in complex patterns.

The fringe includes pressed glass, crystals, cloisonne, polymer, gemstones and pearls. A crimson high heeled shoe charm adds a whimsical air.

The clasp is comprised of two polymer buttons that have been embroidered with hooks and loops added.

The collar measures 155mm at its widest - that is the centre (including fringe).

All Fabulous Frippery Collars have an internal diameter measurement of approximately 120mm. However, the collars are adjustable and can be worn higher or lower on the neck, as preferred. They will fit all but very large necks. Each bead is hand stitched to a piece of stiff fabric, which is then finished with a backing of ultrasuede, for comfort and durability. The clasps are backed with the same fabric.

Each collar comes in its own storage box wrapped in acid-free paper. The collars are valuable heirloom pieces which will be handed down through generations.
