Description

This is an original* design of Hamsa amulet and matching necklace. Pendant’s frame is free shaped and cold forged by hand from sterling silver wire. Slightly hammered finish adds light sparkle. Garnet beads are woven onto the frame using thin sterling silver wire. Delicate sterling silver cord chain with garnet and silver beads accents complements the pendant. The necklace is finished with a lobster clasp and 2” long extender for flexibility.

Hamesh (Hamsa) amulet according to Kabbalah represents protective hand of God and is believed to ward against evil eye and bring good luck. Hamesh-Hamsa-Fatima’s hand amulet is widely used by other cultures around Mediterranean under various names but for the same purpose.

Many researchers believe that garnet stone represented the tribe of Judah in the breast plate of the high priest of the Jerusalem Temple. On metaphysical level garnet is the stone of relationships, both personal and professional/business. It’s believed to attract people through bringing out your best qualities.
