Busy Little Hedgehog Smock and Pants

Description

Busy hedgehogs, baby ducks and little sheep are marching in a row across these whimsical pants made from a medium weight Japanese fabric that is 85% cotton and 15% linen. Elastic waist and wide legs for a comfortable fit. Coordinating smock top has an wool felt applique, brown and white polka dot border around hem, elastic casing at ends of sleeves and a polka dot bias trim around neck. Fastens at back of neck with button and loop closure. Loose-fitting and made from a medium weight linen that softens with each wash.

Pants measure 21in./63cm. at waist, 30in./76cm at hips, 24 1/2in.62cm. from top of hem to bottom of leg, 16 1/2in./42cm. from crotch to hem. Smock measures 19in/48cm from armpit to armpit (36in./96cm around), 21in/53cm. from top of shoulder to hem, sleeve length from neckline to hem is 19in/48cm.

Approximately a child's size 8. I make most of my garments from Japanese patterns which use measurements rather than sizes, so if you are in doubt if this garment will fit and need additional measurements, please do not hesitate to contact me.
