Now this is versatile one of a kind heart! A little or a lot however you want it. A combination of necklace, pin, and choker. Where's the pin you ask? Check the second photo where the white arrow is pointing! Then check the next photo to see the pin. What choker? Well unsnap the "neck tie" from the heart and snap it around your neck for a choker! Use the pin or choker alone or as a combo. Wow!

I've had a ♥ affair with yoyos (the fabric kind!) every since I was a kid and had some my grandmother had made. I loved those yoyo's but couldn't think what to do with them. Now I'm always thinking of new ways to use them and decided to try adding a different look to my Snappie necklaces.

This one is made from an old silk tie I had in golden beige, pinks and greys. Part of the tie went into some yoyos and the rest went into the "neck tie". I love the way yoyo's come out from different styles of fabric! I added some more silk and cotton yoyo's to compliment the tie.

The buttons are from my extensive collection of buttons, some new, some old. All from various materials. Buttons are my other love!

The yoyo's are hand made and then sewn together. The yoyo collage is then sewn to a fabric backing that has some stiff interfacing material added to it. The buttons are then selected and sewn on by hand. After that another piece of fabric is sewn on by hand to the back to present a neat back and hide all those ugly threads and knots! Felt is then glued where needed to cover up any remaining knots.

The piece snaps on to make it an easy on, easy off style necklace. No clasps or ties to fuss with just snap it on and your good to go! Great if you are alone or your hands don't work as well as they used to!

The neck tie measures 20.5 inches (52cm) and can be shortened by tying a knot in the middle or one on either side.
The yoyo heart measures 8 inches (20cm) wide and the pin is 3 inches square.
Piece weighs 2 oz.
