Relics of the deep - Art glass Pendant

Description

The art glass cabochon in this necklace was another one of my lampwork beads in a past life. I thought it looked better once it had been melted once again and the colours reacted together once more.

I have bezel set in in sterling silver using tradional metalsmithing techniques. I do not use any glue in my metalwork. The bezel has been beaten and battered and then oxidised to give an old ancient feel to this piece.

Pendant comes on a large open link oxidised sterling silver chain.

The focal pendant measures 4cm (40mm)long and 3cm (30mm) wide.
