Crane in Winter
Description
From October to March we have sandhill cranes in my area. My favorite place to view them is the Consumnes River Preserve, and there is magic in viewing them or simply hearing their cries on foggy, wet midwinter days. Such was my inspiration for this painting. Note that the sun is a mere shadow of itself in the misty sky. I am offering a 5" by 7" reproduction of the original sumi-e ink painting in an 8" by 10" mat.Added on Oct 30, 2009
