Red Dichroic Glass Stacked Rod Pendant

Description

Layers of multi-colored (purple, red, orange), dichroic glass fused together with clear art glass. Hand-crafted and kiln-formed in my home studio by fusing multiple layers of glass at temperatures above 1400 degrees.

The metallic glitter effect is created by using dichroic glass, which displays ever-changing colors depending on the angle at which it is viewed. The pendant measures 3/8" x 1 3/4". After fusing, the pendant is annealed for strength and secured with a sterling silver bail.
