Leaf Plate Impression
Description
This piece was hand built over a mold. I found some old branches with leaves still attached and pressed them into the clay before draping it over the mold. It was fired once, then glazed and painted and fired again.The texture of the inside of the bowl is slightly textured and rough while the outside is a nice teal blue that complements the color of the clay.
Is food safe, but recommended for decoration of some sort. On table with fruit inside or on mantel or end table. Can even hang on wall!
Having food inside might get into the small impressions and be hard to get out!
Size is 10" diameter and is 2.5" tall
