KNOW YOUR RIGHTS Hand-Pulled Screen Print

Description

This is a hand pulled screen print called Know your Rights by artist Amy Davis Roth.

It is a portrait of Joe Strummer from the Clash. I was very influenced by his music it helped shape who I am today. If you haven't already listen to the song "Know your Rights" by the Clash...the lyrics are even more relevant in todays society.

This design was adapted from an original painting done by me. I photographed the painting and took it into the computer and then turned it into a one color image and ultimately turned it into a one color screen. It was then hand pulled on the floor in my studio.

It is printed on artist quality, smooth cold press illustration paper with black screen printing ink. I mixed a little metallic ink in with the black during printing to give a bit of shimmer to the black but it is not too noticeable.

*PLEASE NOTE this is a hand pulled screen print so the print you receive may vary slightly from the image shown but rest assured I would NEVER send a print that doesn't meet up to my high standards. These prints represent me as an artist and I demand quality in my work.

The image itself is 8" wide x 8.25" high and is printed on 11" x 14" paper giving a nice white boarder that is ready to frame with or without a matte.

All my prints are signed and numbered. You will receive the lowest number available out of each run when ordered.
