All of the other pieces of candy are actually family members of this happy large and complex family. They are direct family, and extended family and selected family, which some call friends.

They are all in pieces because in my experiences you are almost always limited into how much someone allows you to see.

You usually only see one side of them at a time. This is usually true with all special members in our lives, we see the first impressions of them, and then over time and investment we are allowed to see more of them but we never seem to get all of them.
