I love chickens - the one thing that makes a farm a "farm", other than a barn. Chickens are also excellent inspiration for glass beads.

This guy is flaunting striped tailfeathers and a beautiful shade of transparent aqua on the rest of his body. He stands on his own and would make either a very unique piece of jewelry or a great little item for the chicken or bird collector.

I made him from Effetre glass in my studio in Manchester, Maryland using no molds. He's a one of a kind item because I can't reproduce the exact same thing if I try! He stands 3/4" tall and has a 2mm hole so there's plenty of room for stringing.
