Description

Noted by renowned birdwatchers of North America as a very rare visitor from Europe, the Black-Tailed Godwit may only be recorded as being seen along the Atlantic coast up to once per year. So it was an incredible opportunity for this photographer (and avid amateur birdwatcher) to have an opportunity to see and photograph this incredibly rare sighting at the Parker River Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island during the summer of 2006.

Original photograph taken with a Canon Powershot S3IS digital camera.

Each photographic artwork piece will be sent as an 8" x 10" mounted to an 11" x 14" acid-free white matboard, beveled at a 45-degree angle with a black core, and in most cases, double matted.
