ARTcard - flowers of love

Description

5.25"wide X 7.25" tall (182mm X 132mm) printed on 80# white cardstock and embellished by hand using bits of paper, torn bits of old books, newspaper puzzles... splashes of paint and finally --- the stems are painted on so they're 3-D.

This ARTcard is just in time for Valentine's Day but since it is simple and unencumbered by a message -- it can be used to celebrate your love for another any day of any year! Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Tuesdays --- all glorious occasions to let someone know that we care about them to send the most unusual card possible - an ARTcard, hand embellished in the ever-funky BLue Chair Studio by me.

Each card comes in a translucent vellum envelope which I've also embellished to enhance the design which shows through making this a most unusual piece of mail which is ART that even your weary postal worker gets to enjoy --- IF you manage to send it. Alot of people swerve on the way to the mailbox and their ARTcard ends up in a frame. Oh well, that's nice too.

Each will be LIKe this but will vary somewhat as the materials that are ON my work table tend to migrate to what I'm working on at the time so each will be part print and part fabulous original. So much like life: each day dawns pretty much the same way - the sun comes up --- but oh how each day makes itself so unique and wonderful!
