This is a Tawny Frogmouth - ya rly, not an owl! :)

They look very similar to owls - but Frogmouths are actually more closely related to the Nightjars, than to Owls. They mostly eat insects, and are named Frogmouths for the way they gape open their huge mouths to catch bugs.
This one, however, is more interested in masquerading as a branch, and looking indignant, making sure no one thinks he's an owl! I love these little guys' facial expressions, their gorgeous eyes, and the way they blend in to natural wood shapes to pretend they're branches.
